Minnesota Star of the North Soap

Specialty soaps for my home state! Packaged in handcrafted, recyclable boxes these make great gifts. When Minnesota became a state on May 12, 1858, it did not have an official state seal despite a constitutional requirement to have one. L'etoile du Nord (Star of the North) became the state motto in 1861 at the same time the seal was adopted by the legislature.
